Patagonia Shelter
Nestled in the heart of the Andes mountain range, along the 45th parallel south, our location is a sanctuary of natural beauty, surrounded by towering peaks with eternal snow and pristine, ancient forests. Set within a semi-valley, our refuge lies at an elevation between 80 and 300 meters above sea level, fed by clear mountain streams that flow into three serene lakes, with our property being the shoreline.
We are just 15 miles from both an airstrip and a calm marine port, from which you can navigate the breathtaking landscapes of southern Chile.
Today, the true value of a refuge lies in its location. How It Works?
Here we explain the three operational models (formats).
1.Tenant Model
Your shelter is annually equipped with everything necessary to support three months of comfortable living. Amenities include:
Power and Utilities:
Electric generator, fuel reserves for heating and electricity, satellite internet, and dual electrical systems (including solar energy).
Vehicle Access:
A vehicle provided based on your needs. Exclusive Club House Access: Includes a restaurant, café, spa with thermal waters, gym, game room, social area, and more.
Outdoor Activities:
Access to three private fishing centers and eight additional nearby locations, kayaking, and trekking through Chile's stunning southern landscapes. Trails lead to altitudes of 1,100 meters above sea level, where you can discover eternal snow and frozen lagoons year-round.
Shelters are fully furnished and feature:
2–3 bedrooms, integrated living-dining-kitchen area, 2–3 bathrooms, pantry, deep well water, and parking. Includes all essential amenities except for a microwave oven.
2. Owner Model:
Design your own shelter tailored to your requirements. After your design is quoted and approved, we will construct the property for you. The design cost is charged separately. Ownership Benefits: You are exempt from annual rent but responsible for maintenance, property upkeep, and common expenses for surrounding areas.
Additional Details:
These costs, along with annual food replenishment, property security, and common area maintenance, will be transparently communicated to you in person. As an owner, you also enjoy all the features and benefits included in the tenant model.
3. Double Refuge
This option offers a unique opportunity to maintain two shelters in distinct environments, both completely secure yet serving different lifestyles.
Primary Shelter:
Located in the natural serenity of the Aysén region.
Secondary Shelter:
Situated in a rural area near Frutillar, just 2 km from its urban core. The second refuge includes:

Renowned as Chile’s “Musical City,” Frutillar is home to a world-class theater on the lake that hosts concerts and events year-round.
Amenities:
High-quality schools, healthcare centers, pharmacies, supermarkets, and a variety of restaurants and cafés offering a fusion of German and local cuisine, alongside spectacular pastries.
Outdoor Attractions:
Endless scenic views along the 160 km perimeter of Chile's largest continental lake, access to hot springs, and other prominent lakes. Fishing opportunities abound: Salmon (November–April) and tuna (year-round, peak February–May) in rivers and coastal waters.
